      Investigations on the source of environmental pollution in the Palace Museum

      There are about one million of precious cultural relics made from different kinds of materials in the Palace Museum.It is important to study the environment in the Palace Museum and its influence on the cultural relics so.as to preserve the art treasures perfectly.From several aspects this paper emphasised the source of air pollutants according to the concrete specific condition and feature of the Palace Museum.These air pollutants being harmful to the cultural relics include(SO_2),(NO_x),(CO), and(C_xH_x),which probably come from fuel coal u sed by the worker and staff members for living,gasoline used for transport,paint,oil,pigment used to decorate the accient buildings and millions of the viewers.The air pollatants caused can make cultural relies aged and rusty.Our purpose is to find the source of the air pollutants that do damage to the cultural relics in the Palace Museum.Furthermore we can search the environment factors and their change law.We'll explore the connections between the damaged cultural relics made from different kinds of materials and the gas pollutants.Accordingly some measures will be adopted in order to proride a suitable environment for our precious cultural relics.
